In connection with the fact that NATO is preparing for a possible occupation of Ukraine by Russia, and the EU is negotiating with U.S. energy companies to eliminate occurring gas supply problems during a possible war, I want to turn attention to a scandalous video released in mid-December 2021.
The dossier of investigative journalism of the agency Slidstvo.Info this time was aimed at Olexandr Gogilashvili, former deputy interior minister and his wife, personal assistant to the president of Ukraine Maria Levchenko. The investigation has reached to the very top circles.
During the investigation, the journalists sought answers to the following main questions:
ยท Was Gogilashvili a Russian citizen when Zelenskiy appointed him deputy interior minister? Does Gogilashvili still have a Russian passport?
ยท How could a person with no experience in law enforcement agencies and an unclear past take such a high profile position? Who helped him?
ยท Under what conditions does Gogilashviliโs wife Maria Levchenko work in the Presidential Office?
ยท Who does Gogilashvili and Levchenko live with in the same house in the village of Khotiv (a suburb of Kiev)?
Gogilashvili was born in Georgia, but has lived most of his life in Russia as a Russian citizen. He had a Russian passport when Zelenskiy appointed him deputy interior minister in 2019. Gogilashvili still has a valid Russian passport. The keyman to Gogilashviliโs fast carrier is his wife, Maria Levchenko, who worked as a personal assistant to producer Ze in Studio โKvartal-95โ, and after Zelenskiy came to power in high politics, she became a personal assistant to the head of state. The lady knows almost everythingโโโshe is responsible for the presidentโs schedule and is present at almost all presidential meetings, including talks with prime ministers and heads of states. Maria Levchenko, as a personal assistant to the president, does not have any official status in the state apparatus, up to now she has not earned a penny for working in the Office of the President, but she receives her monthly salary from LLC Kvartal-95.
Skimming the above mentioned, one can easily get the impression that it is nothing special, it is just another ordinary story about how Ze appoints his close friends to high positions, simply because he trusts them, and he really does not care when it comes to appointing a Russian citizen as deputy interior minister of Ukraine. But the situation is much more complicated.
Journalists have been trying for a long time to solve the mystery of the third resident of the estate in Khotiv, which the Levchenko-Gogilashvili family rents from Vyacheslav Strelkovskiy, a businessman who is associated with tax optimization in Ukraine. And here comes the most important information collected by the investigative journalists: the third resident of the house is the head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Defence (GUR MO) Kyrylo Budanov, i.e. the chief military intelligence officer of Ukraine!
Does NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg fully realize the meaning of the fact that the head of the GUR MO of Ukraine not only lives in the same luxury complex, but also in the same villa with a Russian citizen, and on the eve of a possible war between Ukraine and Russia, these two persons have friendly conversations every single night about the events of the day?!
How could Budanov avoid resignation after such a scandal? How could Zelenskiy, who appointed a citizen of the Russian Federation as deputy minister of internal affairs of Ukraine, manage to avoid a scandal? (Zelenskiy, a close friend of the Gogilashvili-Levchenko couple, should have known about the Russian background of Gogilashvili, as well as the fact that they settled in the same house with the head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defence.)
It is really very strange for me that such facts do not touch the president at all, even in a situation when the risk of a Russian attack on Ukraine is quite high, when there is a concentration of troops on the borders of Ukraine, and military intelligence plays a key role in collecting information about the intentions of the Russians. Can this be called a security risk? In my opinion, yes.
When NATO is more concerned about the misfortune of Ukraine than the president of Ukraine, Ukrainian voters should think about the essence of the so-called โZelenskiy phenomenonโ, and at the same time, croon the words of the old White Guard songโโโโwe cannot change the course of the ship.โ In case we can no longer change certain things, we at least must try to find answer to the question: why so? I believe that the investigation of Slidstvo.Info, with the help of confirmed information, offers adequate answers to the most relevant questions, but even journalists did not receive an answer from the concerned officials, does this story harm state interests? It is worth paying attention to how this scandal will develop.
